COACH TOURS

The Michael Collins center is designed to cater for groups, large and
small and while many coach parties request the Michael Collins
presentation, sometimes groups look for a more varied programme. The
West Cork Country Life Show explores the rich heritage of West Cork in a
unique blend of story telling, traditional songs and monologs and a
humorous talk on superstitions.
The slide show, ”West Cork in the pages of history” begins in the
Bronze Age and ends in the era of Michael Collins, it leads The Country
Life Show onto the final item, the bastable baking demonstration.
Traditional brown bread is baked in a bastable on the open turf fire,
afterwards visitors sample the cake.
